lDosBox 3.0

lDosBox is a mobile port of the popular Dosbox emulator. The dosbox sources have been modified and are conveniently packaged as a tgz archive located in the internal SD card at Android/data/lb.myapp.dosbox.

Utilizing the same user interface as its predecessor, lBochs, lDosBox provides a virtual PC keyboard by default, though users have the flexibility to employ their preferred virtual keyboard.

One notable feature is the ability to create shortcuts for different dosbox configurations, as well as for individual programs. The app is designed to run .bat files, but compatibility may vary across different Android systems.

All configurations can be easily managed through a comprehensive popup menu that offers a multitude of options. In case a physical menu button is absent on the device, the back button typically initiates the menu.

It's strongly advised not to mount the root of filesystems with critical data to prevent inadvertent data deletion within the emulator.

N.B. Originally crafted as a personal experiment, this app has now been shared with the community due to its potential value. Please note that there is no official support guaranteed, and future maintenance is uncertain. The app remains in a beta/testing phase.
